Privacy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This is a non-commercial educational site. There are no accounts, no cookies and no collection of personal data.
In short
No personal data such as name, e-mail or IP address is requested or stored.
There are no cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
What you enter in the simulator (e.g. a name in a case set, lesson flow notes) is not sent to any server.
Stored on your device
Only your preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage: language, theme, the hidden guide, the simulator tab and your lesson flow. They never leave your device; clearing browser data deletes them. So that the site works offline after one visit, its files are kept in the browser cache.
Visit statistics
To understand which pages and tools are used, the cookie-free GoatCounter service may be enabled. GoatCounter keeps only totals (page views and events such as a simulator video or image export or a completed self-test); it does not identify visitors or track them across sites.
External services
Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers. Reference links (DOI, PubMed) take you to the publisher’s site, where its own privacy rules apply.
